The Helsinki Space
Exhibition will be held in Kaapelitehdas, that was previously a factory
complex for production of cables. Thus the name Cable Factory. The
area has developed now into hi-tech and new media hub of the Finnish
capital, located conveniently near the city centre. The neighbourhood
is called Ruoholahti, and it is easily reachable by walk, bus and
metro. The trip from the main railway station takes less than 15 minutes.

Majority of the
buses to Lauttasaari and Espoo pass the Cable factory. The terminus
of the tram line 8 is just on the front yeard of the exhibition hall.
For those coming
with a car, there is plenty of parking space available in Ruoholahti,
though parking is very limited in very near of the Cable Factory.
