Dear International Variable Star Friends,
All through this year, the AAVSO will be celebrating the 100th birthday
of our founding in 1911. The culmination of our year-long celebration
will be the annual meeting held in Woburn, Massachusetts, October 5-8, 2011.
This will be a once in a lifetime meeting with unprecedented attendance
and special historical programs. If there was ever a meeting you should
try to attend, this is it! Sleeping room rates will be US$99 per night
at the main hotel with roommate matching assistance.
More information about registration and accommodations will become available
on the AAVSO website in the coming months, but we encourage you to begin
planning on attending this once in a lifetime event now.
All events held at Headquarters will occur Wednesday and Thursday.
All Friday and Saturday events will be held at the Woburn Hilton hotel.
