Yes, I did see them even in those scanned photos in your web site. I was
about to wrote that "Also in Viitasaari display there was Parry...". Well,
heliac arc was faint in both displays.

We have two possible orientations for it. We know approximately what is
the
prism angle needed for this refraction halo about 11° above the sun. We
just
don't know what type of ice crystal is producing it... We do have some
suggestions of ice crystal, but so far we haven't found any evidences to
confirm any of our ideas. What we need is a good ice crystal sample from
the
next good display to solve this mystery. Hunt is on...
