Have just had a report of a blue moon in Australia ..
"Can someone explain this one to me? We are presently experiencing
a magnificent full moon here in Central Victoria, Australia. Described
as a Blue Moon, the inner part of the moon is largely blue .. "
This might have been caused by dust of just the right size and size
distribution from the fires currently burning there.
Any Australian list members are urged to try to get photographs of
this rare event.
