21.12.2004 20:11-20.13 UT at altitude of twenty degrees
Imaged with a Canon EOS 20D and EF 200mm f/1.8 L USM lens with 2X tele extender. Exposure time was 5 x 2 seconds at f/3.5 unguided. Camera setting were 1600ISO, daylight white balance and automatic dark subtraction. Images combined by adding in Ulead PhotoImpact XL. Image enhancements used were curves, unsharp masking, cut to 3°X5° and made smaller for the Web. Stars down to magnitude 11 are visible and the two bright stars on the right are SAOI131020 and SAO131005. 80% Moon was 37° away.
