An image of the Shuttle launch on February 7th at http://spaceflightnow.com/station/stage5a/010207launch/ shows an apparently sunward cloud shadow. Is this an exhaust plume shadow from the light of the shuttle engines (the geometry does not look right) or is there another explanation. METEOPTICS list members' opinions appreciated!
