If one would use the term "solar rays" for the sunrays, one could use
"antisolar rays" for the rays converging to the antisolar point. That
would be consistent. If you use the term "cloud rays", that gets
difficult
(anticloud rays?). When using "crepuscular rays" exclusively for the
twilight rays, which reading Les' and Veikko's post (thanks) would be a
sensible idea, one could use "anticrepuscular rays" for the crepuscular
rays that converge into the Earth shadow band during twilight.
The people in Holland, where I am from, always call the solar rays
literally "sunrays" as well (the Dutch equivalent, that is).
Another problem with the term "cloud rays" is that it leaves you with no
description for sunrays cast by mountains and other features on the
terrain. So, to me "solar/antisolar rays" would seem the better
choice. We could use "(anti)crepuscular rays" or maybe "(counter)twilight
rays" for the twilight phenomenon.
