To avoid off-topic discussion on the mailing list (even there haven't
been recently any discussion on the list at all), avoid to reply any
off-topic message. If you like to answer, reply to sender's address
not mailing list address.
Sometimes there are 'garbage mail' from so called spammers. FUNET
listserver protect our list for the most common spam addresses.
Sometimes people send their subscriptions or announcements of mail
address change to mailing list address instead of list administration
address: meteoptic-owner_at_listserv.funet.fi. Forgive them, many people
aren't familiar with mailing list servers.
