  Well, hello atmospherists...though
I don't know if aurorae is a subject of this list. Anyway, tonight 27.9. at about 18 UT a major aurora storm broke in southern Finland. Nothing of this kind was predicted so this was perhaps because of a solar flare.

  So keep your eyes to north for a while while exercising your dogs!
