Muistaissain heitän muistutuksen, että seuraava "Light and color" tullaan pitämään Saksassa ensi kesäkuussa 13-17.6. 2004.
...there will be the next international meeting on atmospheric optics in June 2004. It will follow the tradition of previous meetings.
It will take place in Germany in Bad Honnef (please have a look at the homepage: www.fh-brandenburg.de/~piweb/projekte/MetOptics/LightandColor.html ).
Jos joku mielii kirjoittaa jotain, deadline on 5.1. 2004 eli kiirusta pitää.
The meeting is open to Contributed Papers on, e.g., rainbows, ice crystal halos, glories, coronas and iridescence, sky colors, mirages and refraction effects, contrast phenomena, optics of lightning phenomena, auroras, noctilucent clouds and light scattering phenomena in the atmosphere. The deadline for submission of original contributions is January 5th 2004. Extended abstracts of at maximum 2 pages should be send via email to Michael Vollmer (vollmer_at_fh-brandenburg.de). The length may be judged by using Times New Roman (size 12, spacing 1.5) and leaving a space of 3cm at each side. Word documents are preferred.
Notification of receiving the abstracts will be send within a couple of days. The abstracts will be reviewed by the International Advisory Board and authors will be notified latest by end of January whether the paper is accepted. Afterwards the final program will be put together.
